Hi! I'm Sara, a UX/UI Designer with 3+ years of experience in visual design and user research.
I've always been passionate about the arts and science. As a left-handed person, I often wondered why some things, like half side tables, weren’t designed for everyone. As I grew, questioning the reality became a habit, and I started noticing other people’s challenges as well. Design felt like the natural path for me.
My professional journey began in London while taking my BA in Graphic Design. Throughout my degree, I worked on real briefs for real clients and had the opportunity to showcase my academic projects at exhibitions like D&AD, experiences that inspired me everyday and helped me develop a design identity while sharpening my problem-solving skills. I was first introduced to UX/UI at an Adobe XD Summer Workshop held at their London headquarters, where I realised how rewarding it felt designing experiences that could have a positive impact.
In Lisbon, I joined a communication agency as a Graphic Designer, where I worked on visual campaigns for clients such as Mercedes-Benz Vans, Lenovo, Miele, APREN, Exponoivos, and others. This role helped me strengthen my visual design skills and taught me how to deliver high-quality work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Later, I decided to specialise in UX/UI, where I completed a final project for a real client.
At the moment, I'm looking for a position as a product designer and studying psychology in my free time. Apart from work, I’m also dedicated to health and sports.
